As you may be aware of, the Union and the Company have scheduled arbitration on June 20, 2013 for 8 unresolved grievances.
\n<\/p>\n
I am happy to report that the Company has made full payment offers of settlement for the following grievances:<\/p>\n
\u2022 16 hour part-time weekend employees (details to follow)
\n\u2022 RRSP contributions for those members that grieved
\n\u2022 Deceased member life insurance payout
\n\u2022 S\/O 2 weeks missing pay payment<\/p>\n
The union has withdrawn two grievances:<\/p>\n
\u2022 One termination grievance due to new evidence
\n\u2022 One grievance was previously already corrected<\/p>\n
Two grievances will be presented on June 20 to Arbitrator Keller:<\/p>\n
\u2022 One termination for security breach
\n\u2022 One termination for unauthorized leave of absence<\/p>\n
A full report will be given on June 24, 2013 at the regular monthly meeting.<\/p>\n
