Greetings!<\/p>\n
As most of you are by now aware, there has been some harassment of our members by the CAWU, who are in the beginning stages of a raid on IAMAW Screeners Local292L.<\/p>\n
We are writing to thank you for your support over the past couple of years, and to ask you to continue with that support. As your Local Lodge Executive Board, we have worked hard<\/p>\n
on behalf of the entire membership, and we have seen a great many improvements within our Union and on the job. There is still more work to be done, and with a strong Union membership, we look forward to continuing that work.<\/p>\n
We are in the final stages of preparation for our upcoming negotiations, and it is crucial that our membership stay united as we move into this round of bargaining. We are only as strong as our membership, and the raid by the CAWU only seeks to divide and distract us, and to weaken that unity at the time we most need to stay rock solid.<\/p>\n
As your Executive Board, we are l00o\/o behind the IAMAW! We ask you not to sign a card for any other Union. Instead, come to our next Local Lodge 2g2LlJnion meeting in<\/p>\n
September and help us continue to build Our Union into the strong and United team that can take on the challenges that face us, both at the bargaining table and in the workplace.<\/p>\n
