It is your responsibility to make sure your seniority date(s) are\ncorrect. The Airport Seniority date should be the date when you became a\nScreening Officer at either Toronto Pearson International Airport or Billy\nBishop Toronto City Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Company Seniority date should be the date of your most recent hire\ndate by Garda or the predecessor company as per L.O.U.1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Example: If you\nquit and were rehired, your seniority date is your last hire date as a Screening\nOfficer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Airport Seniority is utilized for Shift bids, Vacation Bid,\nOvertime, etc. The Company Seniority date is to govern your Vacation\nEntitlement percentage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If either date is not correct, please submit an IAMAW Local Lodge 2921\nSeniority Inquiry Form along with any and or all documentation to support your\nclaim to your respective Chief Stewards. The seniority committee will further\ninvestigate your inquiry. Please ensure to obtain a copy of your inquiry form\nsubmitted from your respective Chief Steward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
