Dear Brothers and Sisters: Please be advised that Transportation District 140 will hold its 2015 Annual Convention during the month of October, in the Montreal area. Exact dates and locations are still to be determined. The purpose of this Bulletin is to remind the Local Lodges of the dates for nomination and election of Delegates, as set out in DL140 Bylaws. Article IV – Conventions of District Lodge 140 Bylaws states:

For Immediate Release Toronto, ON – The International Associations of Machinists – IAM, representing 3,000 Airport Security Screeners at Toronto Pearson, Toronto Billy Bishop, Vancouver International and 10 regional airports in British Columbia, begin bargaining for a new collective agreement. Talks began today between the IAM and Garda for Toronto while bargaining with G4S for the Pacific Region will take place later this month.
