TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS GENERAL CHAIRPERSON – CENTRAL REGION TECHNICAL OPERATIONS, LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY POSITION NOMINATIONS – SEPTEMBER 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Transportation District 140 Bylaws Article 11.03 states that: “Nominations for General Chairperson(s) will take place at the first (1st) Local Lodge meeting within the affected region during the month of September.”
In accordance with Article 11.01.08 of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws: “There shall be one (1) General Chairperson designated for Technical Operations, Logistics and Supply in the Central Region. This designated General Chairperson shall be nominated by and elected by only those members who are employed in Technical Operations and Logistical Supply at Air Canada. Air Transat and Field Aviation in the Central Region. Members represented by this designated General Chairperson are not eligible to vote for the designated Service, the designated Airports Screener or the designated Air Canada General Chairpersons. They are eligible to vote for all central At Large General Chairpersons.”
There will be elections on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 for the Technical Operations, Logistics and Supply Central Region General Chairperson position.
All members who are in “good standing” as per the IAMAW Constitution Article II, Section 04 will be permitted to cast a vote.
