TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS GENERAL CHAIRPERSON ELECTION – CENTRAL REGION AIRPORT SCREENER POSITION ELECTION – NOVEMBER 13, 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Be advised as per Article 11.03.01 of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws, the Airport Screener Central Region General Chairpersons closing date for the “acceptance of nomination” letters was Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
Further to Transportation District 140 Bylaws, Article 11.01.08:
“There shall be one (1) General Chairperson designated for the Airport Screeners. This designated General Chairperson shall be nominated by and elected by only those members who are employed as Airport Screeners in the Central Region. Members represented by this designated General Chairperson are not eligible to vote for the Designated Service, Designated Air Canada or the Designated Central Region Technical Operations, Logistical Supply General Chairperson. They are eligible to vote for all Central Region AT Large General Chairpersons.”
There will be elections on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 for the Airport Screener Central Region General Chairperson position. The candidates are listed below in alphabetical order (family name first).
