SECTIONS 4.03, 4.04, 7.01(c), 7.01(d)
OF THE TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT 140 BYLAWS

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Due to COVID19 health pandemic, its uncertainties, and the rescheduling of the Transportation District 140 Convention from April 26 through April 28 , 2021, it is important that the Transportation District 140 remain in compliance with its Bylaws.
The Transportation District 140 Executive Board has decided to request from the Grand Lodge a dispensation from Article 4.03, Article 4.04, Article 7.01 (c), and Article 7.01 (d) of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws.
The motion was as follows: “That the DL 140 Executive Board requests dispensation as detailed herein, to complete the LL delegate election process and better align the administrative dates for the 2020 DL 140 annual Convention which has been rescheduled to April 2021.
Article 4.03 to allow all Local Lodge delegates elections to be held on the date of their respective November 2020 monthly general membership meeting.
Articles 4.04 and 7.01 (c) to extend the deadline for submission of both delegate/alternate credentials and bylaw amendment proposals from July 31, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
Article 7.01 (d) to extend the deadline for the ST to send all properly initiated bylaw changes and resolutions to the LL Recording Secretaries and District Executive Board Members from August 31, 2020 to January 31, 2021”.
This dispensation request to articles 4.03, 4.04, 7.01 (c), and 7.01 (d) have been approved by the Grand Lodge.
Therefore, this bulletin is to inform our members of the language changes made to the Articles 4.03, 4.04, 7.01(c) and 7.01(d).
