New Communicator – Caterina Barone

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the newly appointed Communicator for IAM Screeners Local 2921, representing members at Toronto Pearson & Billy Bishop Airports.

Caterina Barone will be communicating information, updates and changes concerning Toronto Screeners and the world of labour. She will play a critical role in the chain of communications to better serve Screeners in their everyday work lives.

Caterina has been a screener at Pearson International Airport at Terminal 3 for the past 6.5 years. She previously worked in the travel industry for 5 years before she joined us at the airport.

“I would like everyone to be equally informed of all changes, updates, information or opportunities available to the screeners whether they are on vacation or on a leave.  Everyone will have the ability to access all information. I believe if everyone is equally informed, it will make it a better environment for all to work in,” said Caterina.
