NOTICE TORONTO SCREENERS OVERTIME (OT) GRIEVANCES DECEMBER 6, 2023

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The IAMAW arbitrated three hundred sixty-eight (368) shift extension overtime grievances on November 22, 2023.

We are pleased to report that the IAMAW was successful in this arbitration. The arbitrator awarded that the three hundred sixty-eight (368) overtime grievances were to be paid out by Garda.

The arbitrator awarded a total amount of $65,000 that he ordered to be paid in an equal portion to each of the three hundred sixty-eight (368) filed grievances.

Each individual grievance will be awarded $176.63 per grievance. If a member filed multiple grievances, they would receive $176.63 for each grievance filed.

Furthermore, the IAMAW has taken proactive measures and filed a policy grievance to address any potential future shift extensions.
