Layoff News – October 17, 2012

In a meeting today, Garda informed the IAM that they will lay off 206 Full Time Screeners and replace them with 237 Part Timers as early as November 28.

These devastating cuts announced by Garda will have a negative impact on all Screeners and the traveling public.

The IAM will challenge Garda’s actions at the Federal Labour Board immediately and keep you updated as the situation develops.
