General Membership Monthly Meeting/ Nominations
The general monthly membership meeting will take place on Thursday February 21st . The meeting will run from 14:00 to 17:00 and will be held at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, Interlaken room located in the terminal 3 departures level.
Please be advised that at the General Monthly Membership Meeting, IAM Local Lodge 2921 will be accepting nominations for 2921 Delegates to attend the following Conventions:
Canadian Labour Conference March 22-24
Ontario Provincial Council of Machinists Convention May 10-12
North American Transportation Conference Aug 20-23
(Must have a valid passport and allowed entry into the United States)
District 140 Convention Oct 23-24
Bylaw of Local Lodge no. 2921 Article 2 Section H
In order for any member to be eligible for nomination to a local lodge office or committee, shop steward, delegate, or any Local Lodge sponsored convention, conference or seminar, the member must be in good standing for a period of one (1) year and have attended at least fifty percent (50%) of the regular Local Lodge monthly meetings in the preceding twelve (12) months of their nomination.
Qualified candidates who will be unable to attend the meeting are asked to please submit their written acceptance of nomination request to the Recording Secretary.
