The HRSDC has advised today that Mr. Buck Reed has been chosen as the Conciliation Officer/Mediator to finalize the outstanding issues of the Collective Agreement. We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to the bargaining table next Wednesday, August 8, 2012. We will keep you informed of any further developments. During the week of July 9th, 2012 your Negotiating Committee met to discuss money issues with Garda. Unfortunately, your Negotiating Committee was unable to reach an agreement as Garda was not prepared to offer a wage and benefit package that we felt would satisfy the needs and requirements for you and your family’s future.
