Chief Steward and Shop Steward Elections June 3, 2021

It’s an exciting time at Local Lodge 2921. The terms of office for Chief Stewards and Shop Stewards have come to an end and it is time to hold elections for the next three year term. Local Lodge 2921 will be holding elections for Chief Stewards and Shop Stewards on June 3, 2021. To qualify to be a candidate, members must be in good standing, are free from delinquencies, must not have acted in management and must currently work in the terminal in which nominated. If you are interested in being nominated to one of these positions in your terminal, nominations will be accepted until 23:59 on May 12, 2021. Nomination forms and absentee ballot request forms can be located at www.screeners.iamaw.ca. Absentee ballots can be scanned to the trustee or hand delivered to the back union office at terminal 1. Local Lodge 2921 is excited about the future and want to wish every candidate the best of luck! 

RAFFLE A HUGE SUCCESS 

The Women’s and Human Rights Committee would like to thank you for supporting the recent raffle to help a fellow member. Also a huge thanks to the members of this committee for always showcasing what it means to be a united team and supporting other members. Congratulations to the winners of the Raffle, they have been informed. We would like to extend to the members a thank you from a very grateful member, who is feeling comforted at a time when that is priceless. United we conquer what befalls us.
