Read moreThe IAM met with Garda yesterday to discuss the Garda screeners’ layoff. We were successful in minimizing the layoff numbers, but not all. Since we don’t believe the announced screener layoff is within the rules and the spirit of the collective agreement, the IAM is filing a grievance. We will keep you posted of any further development.
